The problem
Limar Global Technologies wanted to launch a consumer crypto wallet in a market where a single security incident kills the product. It had to feel as simple as a banking app while managing assets across many incompatible blockchain networks — and it had to be provably secure, because "trust us" doesn't work in crypto.
The approach
Security as the architecture, not a feature. I designed a zero-knowledge key model: private keys are generated and stored only on the user's device (Secure Enclave / TEE), following BIP32/39/44 standards with AES-256 encryption. The backend never sees a key. Deterministic builds let anyone verify the shipped code matches the source.
One interface, many chains. Support for 20+ networks — Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, Polkadot, and more — through custom-built chain interfaces, so users manage all assets, NFTs, and DApp interactions from one place.
Defense in depth for real users. Biometric authentication, multi-signature support, hardware wallet integration (Ledger, Trezor), and air-gapped cold storage configurations. AI-based fee estimation keeps transaction costs sensible for everyday use.
Verified, not asserted. The wallet went through multiple security audits by independent firms, backed by an ongoing bug bounty program.
The outcome
Hessa Wallet shipped as a production consumer wallet with a security posture strong enough to publish: keys that never leave the device, externally audited code, and hardware-grade custody options — while keeping onboarding simple enough for first-time crypto users.
"He brought deep blockchain expertise and a strong focus on security, implementing features like multi-chain support, biometric authentication, and hardware wallet integration." — Abdullah AlNahdi, CEO, Limar Global Technologies
