Livo — Logistics Management System

The problem

Livo's delivery operations ran on spreadsheets and phone calls. Dispatchers had no live view of where shipments were, routes were planned by intuition, and customers called in for status updates because there was nowhere to check. As volume grew, every new order added coordination overhead instead of revenue.

The approach

I built Livo an end-to-end logistics platform covering the full delivery lifecycle:

Live visibility for everyone. GPS-integrated real-time tracking gives dispatchers, drivers, and customers the same picture. The tracking layer handles thousands of simultaneous shipments over WebSockets while keeping updates low-latency.

AI-powered route optimization. Instead of intuition, routes are computed against traffic, load, and delivery windows — the single biggest lever behind the delivery-time reduction.

Tools for each role. Drivers get a mobile app with navigation and delivery confirmation. Customers get a self-service portal to create shipments and track orders. Managers get an analytics dashboard with customizable reports and automatic inventory alerts.

The outcome

Delivery times dropped 35% and operational costs fell 28% after rollout, with customer satisfaction ratings up 40% — customers track their own orders instead of calling in. The platform scaled through subsequent volume growth without adding dispatch staff.
